This Privacy Policy explains how Prixette (“Prixette,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit prixette.com (the “Site”). Prixette is a price-comparison service — designer fashion first, plus beauty, home, and electronics. You can reach us at any time regarding this policy at contact@prixette.com.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

If you contact us by email, or share your email address to be notified when we launch, we receive the information you send — typically your email address and the contents of your message. We use it only for the purpose you provided it: to respond to you, or to send you a launch notification.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, when you visit the Site our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data in server logs: your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the pages you view, the time of your visit, and the referring page. We use this data to keep the Site secure and reliable and to understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used.

2. Cookies and analytics

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes:

  • Analytics. We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Where we use analytics, we configure them to minimize personal data collection to the extent the tool allows.
  • Affiliate tracking. When you click a link from the Site to a retailer, the affiliate network or retailer may set cookies in your browser so that a resulting purchase can be attributed to Prixette. These cookies are set by the retailer or network, not by us, and are governed by their own privacy policies.

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the Site.

3. Affiliate links

Prixette participates in affiliate programs. This means we may earn a commission when you buy through links on our site, at no additional cost to you. When you follow a link from the Site to a retailer, you leave the Site, and any information you provide to that retailer — including account, payment, and shipping details — is collected by the retailer under its own privacy policy. We never see your payment information.

4. How we use information

  • To operate, secure, and improve the Site;
  • To respond to messages you send us;
  • To send a launch notification if you asked for one;
  • To measure aggregate use of the Site;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email to addresses collected for launch notifications beyond the notification itself unless you separately agree.

5. How we share information

We share information only with: (a) service providers that help us run the Site, such as our hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf; (b) affiliate networks and retailers, to the limited extent described in sections 2 and 3; and (c) authorities where disclosure is required by law. We do not otherwise disclose personal information to third parties.

6. Data retention

We keep emails and launch-list addresses only as long as needed for the purposes above, and we delete launch-list addresses that are no longer needed after launch notifications are sent. Server logs are retained for the limited periods set by our hosting provider.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights — including asking us to delete your email address from our launch list — write to contact@prixette.com and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are in a jurisdiction with a supervisory authority for data protection, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with that authority.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we limit the personal data we collect in the first place — the most effective protection there is. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the small amount of data we hold.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Site evolves — in particular when our comparison service launches. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new “last updated” date, and material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
